2009 Conference Information

The 2009 IRACDA Conference will take place June 7-9, 2009 and will be hosted by UCSF. Please visit the conference website for information or contact Jeannine Cuevas.

All IRACDA Fellows and program administrators are invited to attend an annual conference gathering all twelve postdoctoral programs funded by the special Institutional Research and Academic Career Development Award (IRACDA).

The conference gives scholars who have the common career goal of incorporating research and science education a chance to come together to share experiences and challenges. Workshops on grant writing, pedagogy, job seeking, and diversity are often part of the agenda, as well as overviews and updates from the National Institutes of Health on funding status and other postdoctoral issues.
