Dr. Raymond Blind, PhD, is currently a postdoctoral scholar working under mentor Dr. Holly Ingraham in UCSF's department of Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology. Blind is studying biophysical and X-ray crystallographic analyses of nuclear hormone receptor SF-1 structure and function induced by ligand binding pocket occupancy by various phospholipids important for signal transduction. His PhD is from New York University.

Dr. Tigwa Davis, PhD, is currently a postdoctoral scholar working in the laboratory of Dr. Erik Ullian, in UCSF's Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Davis' research focuses on the role of astroglia and microRNAs in synapse formation and function in the developing CNS. His PhD is in Pharmacology from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Luis Estévez-Salmerón, PhD, is currently a postdoctoral scholar working in the laboratory of Dr. Thea Tlsty, in UCSF's Department of Pathology. Dr. Estévez-Salmerón’s research focuses on understanding how cancer cells adapt to changes in their microenvironment. His PhD is Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California at Berkeley.

Her PhD is in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Jose Lopez, PhD, is currently a postdoctoral scholar in the laboratory of Dr. Valerie Weaver in UCSF's Department of Surgery. Dr. Lopez's research is focused on understanding how the mechanical microenvironment of breast tumors influences tumor invastion and metastasis. His PhD is from the University of Arizona.

Dr. Jamila Newton, PhD, is currently a postdoctoral scholar working under mentor Dr. Alison W. Xu at UCSF's diabetes center and the department of anatomy. Newton's current research focuses on the role hypothalamic neuronal leptin signaling in the maintenance of energy balance and glucose homeostasis. Her PhD is from Harvard University.
