On Thursday, September 6, 2018, the Graduate Division hosted its Seventh Annual Fall Celebration to mark the beginning of the new academic year and to welcome new and returning students to campus, along with postdoctoral scholars.
This year, 800 graduate students, postdocs, faculty members, and volunteers gathered on Koret Quad at Mission Bay for BBQ, ice cream, music (courtesy of Robert Kirkbride of CLS Wellness & Community), socializing, great raffle prizes, and lovely weather. Representatives from several student RCOs and selected campus units were also on hand to share their work with attendees and inspire them to get involved.
Thank you to everyone who came out to have a good time, as well as to the many staff volunteers who made the event run so smoothly!
