At our popular Grad Slam event, 7-10 PhD student finalists will present their research in three minutes or less, in language accessible to a general audience. It's a celebration of graduate research at UCSF and of scientific inquiry.GEPA Commencement 2026

We look forward to celebrating this major milestone with our master's and PhD students, their families and friends, and with our faculty and staff at UCSF, who also take great pride in our students' accomplishments. The ceremony will also be live streamed via YouTube.
