The 2026 GEPA Commencement Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 15, at 11 a.m. at the beautiful Herbst Theatre, in the Veterans Building at 401 Van Ness Avenue in downtown San Francisco! We look forward to celebrating this major milestone with our master's and PhD students, their families and friends, and with our faculty and staff at UCSF, who also take great pride in our students' accomplishments. The ceremony will also be live streamed via YouTube.
Invitations will be sent in January 2026 to all PhD and master's students who completed their program requirements in fall 2025, or whose anticipated graduation term is winter, spring, or summer 2026. Students must register by the deadline in order to participate in commencement.
