Postdoc Slam returns to UCSF! After a two-year hiatus, our popular research communication competition for postdocs is back, and we are planning for an exciting event on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, 4-6 p.m. PDT. Ten UCSF postdoc finalists will present their research in three minutes or less, in language accessible to a general audience. It's a celebration not only of the finalists and contest winner, but also of postdoctoral research at UCSF and of scientific inquiry.
The event will be presented for a limited live event audience at Mission Bay, and live-streamed broadly for remote viewers, who will be able to vote for the "People's Choice" audience award.

Cash prizes of $4,000, $2,000, and $1,000 will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winners chosen by the judges. And the audience will choose the "People's Choice" winner, who will receive $750.
