On Monday, September 15, the Graduate Division hosted the Third Annual Fall Celebration to mark the beginning of the new academic year and to welcome new and returning students to campus.
This year, over 700 graduate students, postdocs, and faculty members gathered on Koret Quad at Mission Bay for BBQ, ice cream, music, socializing, and some great raffle prizes. Among this year's new students in the Graduate Division are 136 PhD students and over 400 in our affiliated master's, physical therapy, and nursing programs.

Motivating INformed Decisions (MIND), UC San Francisco’s newest career exploration program, is about to embark on its inaugural year! MIND will give basic and biomedical grad students and postdocs the skills they need to effectively explore the diversity of careers available to PhD scientists.
