Program Staff

  • Yvonne Garcia, MS, oversees and manages all aspects of this dynamic 10-week residential summer research program, including the admissions process, coordinating the weekly professional development series, and supervising the graduate student advisers.
  • D'Anne Duncan, PhD, works closely with Yvonne to oversee the program, and serves as a mentor to SRTP student participants, as needed.
  • Jennifer Thompson manages and schedules training to handle laboratory animals and supports laboratory placements of SRTP undergraduates.
  • Naika McDonald handles all expenses and reimbursements for students in the SRTP program.
  • Annabelle De La Rosa provides budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting support.
